Angel Paws exists to bring comfort, encouragement, and connection through therapy dogs.
We serve in places where people are often facing stress, uncertainty, or difficult circumstances. Hospitals, schools, and care environments where even a small moment of calm can mean a lot.
Our visiting teams are trained handlers and their dogs who give their time to simply be present. No pressure. No expectations.
Just a calm, steady presence when it's needed most.

Angel Paws exists to share the love of Jesus with gentleness, humility, and compassion in every visit.
Scripture
We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and the trustworthy authority for faith, character, and the way we serve others.
Jesus Christ
We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, crucified for our sins, risen bodily, and coming again.
Grace & Service
We believe salvation is God's gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Because He first loved us, we seek to serve people with compassion, integrity, prayer, and hope.
Ministry Participants
Angel Paws is a Christ-centered ministry. Team participants, leadership, and representation of the organization align with these biblical beliefs and our governing documents, including our bylaws and participant application.

This ministry is also deeply grateful for every church, school, hospital, and community partner that opens a door for our teams to serve. We do not take those invitations lightly.
As God continued to call Angel Paws to serve an even greater area, we knew the next step was to form a 501(c)(3). Angel Paws trusted that calling and is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ready to go wherever God calls us.
God is still opening doors—sometimes in familiar hallways, sometimes in places of grief we never expected to walk. Our prayer is to keep showing up with excellence, humility, and the steady comfort our pets bring.

What Makes Therapy Dogs Different
Therapy dogs are not service animals trained for one individual. They are trained to interact with many people, offering comfort, companionship, and emotional support in a variety of environments.
They do not judge. They do not rush. They do not interrupt.
They simply show up with a calm, steady presence—and that is often enough.
Our Story
Helping the Hurting
Angel Paws began in 2017 as a small church-based ministry and grew as requests for visits increased across Houston. We served schools, colleges, assisted living communities, hospitals, and crisis-impacted communities, and saw God open doors far beyond what our early team could have imagined.
The Journey
From a single visit that sparked a vision to teams serving across Greater Houston and beyond, Angel Paws has been shaped by faithful handlers, remarkable dogs, and partners who welcome us into their spaces.
Looking Forward
Today, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry, we continue to equip handlers and therapy dogs to serve with excellence, humility, and compassion. Our prayer is simple: to keep sharing the love of Jesus through the steady comfort our pets bring to every place we are invited.
